By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
3. Description of the Service
Factually is a context engine that scours the web for information and synthesizes it for users. Users may submit text queries, which are processed using automated systems including large language models ("LLMs").
4. User Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. User Submissions
Users may submit text-based queries or prompts ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You retain any rights you hold in your User Content.
6. Donations
Users may make voluntary one-off or recurring donations through Stripe. Donations do not currently grant access to special features or perks. Stripe processes all payment information; we do not store or handle any credit card or payment details.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service—including text, software, graphics, photos, videos, and logos—is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without written permission.
8. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not in a way that infringes upon the rights or limits the experience of others. You may not attempt to reverse engineer the Service, scrape data, or otherwise interfere with its operation.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party providers such as Stripe. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or suitability for any purpose. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
