1526 FBA Claim

The claim that in 1526, Spanish colonizer Lucas Vázquez de Ayllón brought the first documented enslaved Black people to the coast of what is now South Carolina and Georgia, and that this arrival anchors a distinct lineage of Black Americans whose roots predate the 1619 Jamestown narrative.
