ICE Wrongful Detentions

ICE conducts interior enforcement operations to identify, arrest and remove noncitizens whom the agency believes are unlawfully present or pose public-safety risks, but expanded directives, poor data and aggressive tactics have led to numerous wrongful detentions and public confrontations in which U.S. citizens were grabbed, held or traumatized.
