USCP Use of Force Policy Changes After January 6, 2021

The U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) has made changes to its use of force and crowd control policies after the January 6, 2021, attack. These changes include new equipment, training, and an incident response plan. However, implementation has been uneven, and many recommendations from the Inspector General and GAO remain only partially adopted.
